Over the High Atlas
Pickup in Marrakech. Over the High Atlas to the kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, then the Valley of Roses to the Dadès and its Monkey Toes rocks. Night: Dadès.
- Boumalne Dadès → Todra Gorge → Merzouga
To the dunes
The Todra Gorge, then Merzouga: a camel caravan to the top of the dunes for sunset, sandboarding, and the night in a desert camp. Night: Desert camp, Merzouga.
- Merzouga → Alnif → Agdz → Telouet → Marrakech
Back to Marrakech
Sunrise over the dunes and a Berber breakfast. The long way back by Alnif, the Draa Valley at Agdz and Telouet, to Marrakech.
