Casablanca airport transfer: your driver waits in arrivals

Mohammed V International Airport, Morocco's busiest airport and the hub of Royal Air Maroc, is about 30 km south of Casablanca: 35 to 45 minutes by car. Book a private transfer and your driver is in the arrivals hall when you walk out, with your name on a sign. The price is fixed per car, from €35 to central Casablanca, and you know it before you fly. We follow your flight, so a delay changes nothing.

The train. ONCF's Al Bidaoui trains leave the station under the airport every hour from 4:00 to 23:00, for Casablanca's two main stations, Casa-Voyageurs and Casa-Port. It is a cheap way in if you travel light and your hotel is near a station. From the station you will usually need a petit taxi to your hotel.

The Aérobus. Since December 2025, a shuttle bus runs from the terminals to Casa-Port through the city centre, every 25 to 40 minutes from 7:00 to 21:00. The flat fare is 50 dirhams, paid in cash or by card.

The airport taxi. Grand taxis wait outside the terminal. Expect about 250 to 350 dirhams by day to the city centre, more after 20:00. The fare is agreed at the rank, so settle it before you get in.

A private transfer costs more than the train or the bus for one person, and a little more than a taxi. You get a driver waiting for you whatever the time, a known car, help with the luggage, and a price agreed before you fly. It is the easy choice after a long flight, for a late landing, or with children.

How the pickup works

  1. Your flight lands. We follow it from take-off. If it lands late, nothing changes and nothing is added.
  2. Passport control and bags. Take your time. Your driver waits.
  3. Arrivals hall. Your driver is at the exit, with your name on a sign.
  4. On the road. Air-conditioning and water on board. Ask for a stop whenever you like.
  5. At your door. Hotel, riad or home, at the price agreed on WhatsApp.

If you cannot find your driver, call or message +212 600 548 316.

Arriving at Mohammed V: good to know

  • Passports. Citizens of many countries, including the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada, enter Morocco without a visa for a short stay. Check the rules for your passport before you fly.
  • Money. The dirham is a closed currency, so you get it in Morocco: there are exchange counters and cash machines in the arrivals area.
  • Phone. Moroccan SIM cards are sold in the arrivals hall, if you want a local number for the trip.
  • The terminals. International flights use Terminals 1 and 2, and a new terminal is being built. Your driver waits at the exit of the terminal your flight lands at; give us the flight number and we do the rest.

From the airport straight to another city

The airport sits south of Casablanca, near the motorway to Marrakech, so you do not need to cross the city to head south.

Landing late at night

Many flights reach Mohammed V in the evening or at night. The last Aérobus leaves at 21:00 and the last train at 23:00, so after that your choices are an airport taxi or a car booked in advance. With a transfer, your driver is in the arrivals hall whatever the time your flight finally lands, and you do not have to negotiate a fare at night. Give us your flight number, and we confirm the pickup on WhatsApp before you fly.

The drive from the airport to Marrakech

If Marrakech is your first stop, you do not need to go into Casablanca at all. From Mohammed V the road joins the motorway south, through Berrechid, Settat and Ben Guerir: about 230 km, around 2 h 45 without long stops. There are service areas on the way for a coffee. You arrive at the door of your hotel, or at the nearest point to your riad in the medina, where cars cannot enter. Casablanca to Marrakech transfers.

Families and a lot of luggage

After a long flight with children, the easiest arrival is a car that is already waiting. Tell us the age of each child and we fit the child seats before the pickup. For large families or several big suitcases, the Ford Tourneo takes 7 passengers and 12 large bags, enough for pushchairs and golf bags too.

Back to the airport

We also drive you to Mohammed V for your flight home, at the same price. Tell us your flight time, and we set the pickup so you reach the terminal with time to spare. There is a security check at the terminal entrance, before check-in, so allow for it: for an international flight, we suggest arriving three hours before departure.

A long layover?

With several hours between flights and a passport that lets you enter Morocco, you can see the Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche instead of the terminal. Your driver meets you in arrivals and brings you back in time for check-in. See Casablanca day tours.
